Koenigsegg released their CCX (Competition Coupe X) in 2006 at the Geneva Motor Show. The CCX's engine isn't as large as some of its competitors, but the size doesn't matter nearly as much as most people think. Even still, the 4.7 liter V8 with dual overhead camshafts and 4 valves per cylinder is nothing to sneeze at. The engine is comprised of aluminum alloy, making it stronger, thinner and lighter than other engines - and with 806 bhp, it's more powerful than some larger engines. The CCX can reach 0 to 60 in 3.2 and is rumored to achieve speeds of up to 259mph.
